  • This kit will allow you to bypass the ABS on the REAR ONLY and make the brake line go direct from the master cylinder to the rear caliper.
  • Requires less pressure at the lever, allowing the rider to use less force while stopping the bike faster and with better feel
  • Fittings come from the factory pre-positioned but can swivel 180° if necessary to make the installation process easier
  • Include a clear outer coating which protects the bike from scratches and the lines from humidity
  • Complete with all necessary banjo bolts and washers and ready to install

Couple Tips

Great youtube tutorial on deleting rc390 abs pump. I left mine in place to maintain the speedo and keep an error light free dash. Lots of hardware being removed so stay organized. Gray Area replied quickly to my question about extra rear brake line length. It follows a c path back rear master cylinder after clearing the plastic swing arm cover. Had to remove the rear wheel and elevate the rear brake pistons to get stubborn air out. Ended up spreading the brake pads and placing a shim to hold the pads open when bleeding. Following advice is questionable: I JB welded the abs pump banjo bolt holes and cut off the old brake line connectors to keep the banjo bolt torque similar the same. I soldered brake line connector holes shut to keep moisture out. I can still hear the pump activate but it is worth having the speedo. Hardware to replace the banjo bolts was impossible for me to find. I think the project was worth it to remove the conservative abs and achieve greater brake feel.
