Like most engines of the latest generation, the KTM 890 engine runs under very high thermal loads on the race track. When used on the racetrack, the oil temperature is considerably higher than the water temperature. For this reason, the heat exchanger installed as standard continues to heat up the cooling water with the hot oil.
The Speedbox oil cooler kit completely separates the water from the oil thermal balance.
The heat exchanger installed as standard is replaced by a racing oil cooler
This guarantees lower oil and water temperatures, which brings more durability and more performance through lower engine temperatures.
The kit includes all parts for a plug and play assembly consisting of:
1x CNC milled adapter made of high-strength 7075 aluminum
1x supply hose with aluminum connections Dash6
1x feedback hose with aluminum connections Dash6
1x CNC machined radiator mount
1x hand-welded racing oil cooler
1x Speedbox oil pressure increase kit
