I've put a little time on the bike since installing this ignition cover, and I'm honestly impressed. The fit was perfect—it lined up exactly as it should and bolted on without any issues. You can tell it's a quality piece as soon as you have it in your hands. It doesn't feel cheap or like an afterthought.
I wanted something that would actually protect the engine without making the bike look bulky, and this does exactly that. It blends in really well and honestly looks like it could've come from the factory.
Hopefully I'll never have to find out how well it works in a crash, but it definitely gives me more peace of mind knowing that side of the engine has some real protection. For the price, it's a no-brainer compared to replacing an engine case.
If you're on the fence, I'd buy it again without hesitation.
